The position comprises many aspects of an autonomous buying position. Although reporting to a line manager there exists considerable responsibility in the role and successful candidates will be expected to buy their own range. Additionally, applicants will be expected to manage an existing base of branded and own label suppliers, sourcing new ones where necessary and supporting the buyer with NPD and range and promotion planning.

Interested candidates must be ambitious, autonomous and confident self-starters comfortable with the responsibility the role entails and eager to prove themselves in their first autonomous buying position. Candidates will ideally have experience of buying part of a range and have dealt with a global supply base. Successful applicants can expect a structured training and development programme and excellent opportunities for career progression.
