This is an international retailer operating large non-food outlets throughout the country. Their stores are fast moving environments selling products to businesses and individual consumers.

The role encompasses all day to day aspects of running the store. Reporting to the General Manager candidates will manage and give direction to the sales team, be responsible for overseeing all cashing and banking procedure and ensure that the store is a pleasant but commercial place to shop. We are looking for a commercial manager, able to drive store profitability by increasing sales through effective delegation and motivation of the team.

Suitable candidates will need retail management experience within a customer focussed, large store environment and understand the importance of high store standards. Individuals will need to demonstrate a sales focussed approach and understand the commercial impact that store layout and product adjacencies can have with regards to store performance. This is a growing business keen to look internally for its General Managers so ambition and drive to progress are important character traits.
