This is an international retailer operating large non-food outlets throughout the country. Their stores are fast moving environments selling products to businesses and individual consumers.
The role fully encompasses all day to day aspects of running the store. Reporting to the Regional Manager candidates will manage and give direction to a team of line managers, ensuring that all sales targets are met and that the store is a pleasant but commercial place to shop. Tasked with a full range of KPI’s managers are left very much to run their store but have sufficient HR and Operational backup in the field to be able to do this effectively.

Suitable candidates will need retail management experience within a customer focussed, large store environment and understand the importance of high store standards. Individuals will need to demonstrate a sales focussed approach and understand the commercial impact that store layout and product adjacencies can have with regards to store performance. This is a growing business keen to look internally to cover succession issues so ambition and drive to progress are important character traits.
